Appalachian Ministries is a non profit outreach program to assist special needs children and families in Kentucky. They distribute clothing, gifts and school supplies, host activities and field trips and stress the importance of education, hard work and a personal relationship with God.
Jessamine County Trap Neuter Return is a volunteer-based program that helps to promote the health of communities and feral cat populations in several ways. 1) Spay/neutering of feral/stray cats; 2) At the time of altering, the cats receive rabies shots; 3) when possible, rehoming of kittens in the colonies. Colonies with intact males and females have issues with 1) over-population, 2) fighting cats 3) illness 4) roaming. Once a colony’s members are no longer making kittens, the colony stabilizes and the numbers remain for the most part consistent.
Lady Veteran’s Connect fights to end the increasing number of Lady Veterans facing homelessness in America. They provide a safe space to care for their very specific needs. They fight for those who have served.
On August 26th 2002, at the age of 9 and just days away from starting 4th grade at St.Pius X, Elana Renee Brophy lost her battle with pediatric cancer – Rhabomyosarcoma. The Elana Brophy Memorial Foundation (formally the Elana Brophy Memorial Scholarship Fund) was originally formed to award a scholarship each year to a graduating student from St. Pius X School, where Elana attended, moving on to catholic high school. This year they became the “EBMF” and with the funds raised we hope to not only continue the scholarship in Elana’s name, but also reach out to other organizations with donations to help with their mission to help others, in a variety of different ways.
Bluegrass Care Navigators is a national leader in delivering high quality care to the seriously ill and a pioneer in developing new programs that are responsive to the evolving needs of seriously ill patients and their families.
The Mission of Revive Life House is to partner with individuals, families and communities to connect them to a Christ-centered, holistic long-term treatment center for men in Nicholasville. Their Vision as a faith-based, Christ Centered, vibrant organization, and they are committed to delivering outstanding care with ongoing collaboration with their recovery-based community, valuing integrity and respect for those struggling with addiction.
This organization’s goal is to inspire and motivate young people through expressive art, mentoring, education, & community service! They encourage youth to define their purpose through their gifts & talents.
Kids Cancer Alliance, Bim Group’s 2018 Charity of the Year, offers a variety of camp and recreational activities year-around for children with cancer and their families. They are dedicated to providing once-in-a-lifetime experiences where children with cancer and their families can grow, learn, build friendships, and most importantly….have FUN just being kids!
Voices of Hope is Bim Group’s Charity of the Year for 2019. Their mission is to promote life-long recovery from the chronic disease of addiction through recovery support services, advocacy, research and education.
