Bluegrass Care Navigators
Mission: Providing patient-centered care to the seriously ill and their families with excellence and compassion; engaging in community partnerships, education and counseling; offering opportunities to staff, volunteers and donors to enrich lives through their gifts.
Home of the Innocents
Mission: Since 1880, we’ve been enriching the lives of children and families with hope, health, and happiness. We’ve been here because we believe this is a great city. We believe that this is a city with timeless, inspirational values. And we believe we are the heart of our city. We are Home of the Innocents.
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky
Mission: Goodwill Industries of Kentucky helps people with disabilities or other disadvantages achieve and maintain employment to gain a better quality of life. We give people a hand up — not a handout — so they can experience the dignity and independence that comes with earning a paycheck and achieving self-sufficiency.
Mission: Kerrington’s Heart is dedicated to the education, support, and encouragement of Kentucky children with heart defects, their families, and caregivers. They offer comfort bags, certificates of bravery, educational support and financial assistance to families in need of meals, fuel and lodging.
Mission: Chrysalis House is Kentucky’s oldest and largest licensed substance abuse treatment program for women, established in 1978 with six beds on the grounds of Eastern State Hospital. Today, Chrysalis House is a comprehensive agency with four residential facilities, a forty-unit apartment complex, a 18,000 square foot, multi-purpose community center, and an outpatient office.
Mission: At the Shepherd’s House we endeavor to assist residents to gain living skills that empower them to take responsibility for their lives. We strive to create an atmosphere that is conducive to recovery and to establish a life-changing fellowship that will ultimately lead to a successful re-entry into the community.
