Information Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The continued spread of COVID-19 across our region has growing implications for employers and employees. We continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 and how it impacts our clients and the Bim Group teamInsurance carriers and third-party administrators have begun to assess the impact of this event as it relates to potential benefit plan modifications/accommodations.  Many of our clients are already receiving information directly from their benefits carriers on the latest information as it relates to their plans.  We are also actively communicating with our carrier partners to educate our internal team on pertinent information and to ensure that our clients are receiving timely and effective communication to pass along to plan participants.

As we navigate this situation, please know that we are committed to maintaining an open line of communication with our clients.

We believe that the most urgent and time-sensitive inquiries specific to anyone impacted by COVID-19 in your organization are best addressed directly with your carrier; however, we stand ready to assist in any way to include intervening with the carriers as necessary to obtain needed information.

Additionally, we are taking measures to ensure our internal team continues to be operational even if business conditions change.  Because of the infrastructure we have in place, we are confident that there would be limited disruption to our operations in the event it becomes necessary to shift to remote-based work for a period of time.

For educational purposes, we have also provided the links below to assist with additional information regarding COVID-19 from a health and employer perspective.
