Deanna has been in the employee benefits industry for 24+ years, serving both at a carrier and consultant level. She is graduate of Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia. She earned a Master of Arts in Law from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia and is a licensed Life and Health Consultant in the State of Kentucky.

Deanna’s primary focus is on employee benefits compliance and auditing. She has extensive experience in all areas of health and welfare benefit compliance, including DOL audits, ERISA requirements, 5500 preparation, COBRA and FMLA administration, HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act. She has been published in The Kentucky CPA Journal and is a seasoned public speaker on ACA, DOL Audits and Wellness planning. In addition to being the Compliance Director for Bim Group in Lexington, Kentucky, she serves on the National Association of Health Underwriters Compliance Committee, chairs the UBA Compliance Committee and co-chairs the UBA Compliance Collaboration group.
